How we verify what we tell you

Every requirement we show comes from the authority that sets it. Here is what happens between your trip and your plan, and what we do when we cannot be sure.

  1. We work out what applies

Your nationality, your destination and why you are going decide which requirement is yours.

You should not have to know whether the thing you need is called a visa, an eVisa, an ETA or an arrival card. Working that out is our job, not yours.

  2. We check it against the official source

Each rule is recorded with the authority that publishes it, the page it came from and the date someone last checked it there.

Not a summary of a summary. The page we read is the page we link you to.

  3. Anything we cannot stand behind is left out

A rule that is unverified, or past the date it should have been re-checked, does not appear in an answer at all.

It is not shown with a warning attached. We would rather tell you we have nothing for a route than tell you something we are not sure of.

  4. You can check us

Every factual line on a plan carries its source and the date it was verified, as a link you can open.

If our answer and the authority's page disagree, the authority is right. Tell us and we will fix it.

  5. You apply on the government's own system

We prepare you for it. We never stand between you and it, and we never collect a government fee.

We are a private service, not a government body, an embassy or an agent of any authority. Government fees are always shown separately from anything we charge.

What we do not do

  • We do not guess. A destination without verified rules returns nothing.
  • We do not use a language model to decide immigration facts. Rules come from recorded, sourced content that a person verified against an official page.
  • We do not mark up, bundle or collect government fees.
  • We do not claim any government affiliation, endorsement or authority.

Right now, during the free beta

  • Checking your trip is free and needs no account.
  • We do not ask for or accept documents or passport scans.
  • Nothing is for sale, and nothing can be charged.
